Amit Prasad, Founder, MD & CEO, the promoter of SatNav
Technologies has varied business interests in IT Products, Primary Education
and Aviation Maintenance. Amit was earlier the Founder and MD of the GIS
venture ”Satyam Navigation” in leading IT company Satyam Computers. Also he is
Managing trustee for SatNav Foundation, Vice Chairman & Managing Director
of SatNav Preschools Pvt. Ltd and the Co-Founder & Director of HAMCO -
India’s 1st Aviation Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) Company.
Selva S., Co-Founder & Business Head, is
M.Phil in Hydrogeology. Selva 12+ years experience in Core GIS and IT sector.
Selva has been a Research and Development associate in Bhabha Atomic Research
Center. He has been in Product Development team of AND Data. He has had an
extensive experience in Product Development and Quality Analysis. He is a chief
architect of SatNav’s flagship product, a-mantra. Selva has also been a part of
the core team at Satyam Navigation since the year 2001 and currently is
Business Head for a-mantra.
Ajay Prasad, Director, is one of the key
members of the management team. Ajay is President and CEO of Global Marketing
Resources (GMR) Inc, a Marketing Consulting organization based in Irvine CA,
USA. He has earlier worked in Navteq and Thales Navigation at senior executive
positions. He is well-acquainted with the business models associated with large
companies. Having been associated with startups, he brings immense value to the
company’s initiatives, specifically those in the GIS-GPS domains.
Rajendra Prasad, Co-Founder & Business Head,
was the first member to join the earlier venture -Satyam Navigation -in 2000
where he was a member of the core team. He is the chief architect of SatGuide,
Map databases, SatNavigator and CD products. He subsequently moved to SatNav
Technologies in early 2004 and is in charge of the map databases business. Raj
is also the CEO of SatNav Preschools Pvt. Ltd., the group’s preschool and
daycare business.
Arpitha Saineni, Head HR and Support Functions,
a Master in Business management Human Resources has an extensive experience of
8+ years in administration and running of Support functions. She was managing
the Appraisal and Recruitment process in RMSI prior to joining Satyam
Navigation where she was a member of the core team at Satyam Navigation since
the year 2000. She had handled a range of responsibilities from Project
Management Office to Resource co-ordination, now heads the team that looks
Quality, PMO, RCC & HR.
Pallavi Taori, Associate Vice President, Corporate
Communications and Strategy, is a Masters in Business
Administration. She has been into various consulting assignments in
PriceWaterhouse Coopers and GE. She has had a 7 years experience in consulting,
client management, project planning and management. She has been a part of
corporate presentations and communications of SatNav since the year 2001 and
was also a member of the core team at Satyam Navigation since the year 2001.
She had handled a range of responsibilities from Funding to Strategic and
Communications strategies for the company, now heads the same function in
SatNav. Currently she also chips in as the Business Leader for SatGuide sales.
Satyajit Ray Sreekurmam, Associate Vice President,
Operations, is a Masters in Earth Sciences, with 12+ years of
experience in core IT Sector. Satya is an ESRI Most Valued Professional (MVP)
and Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP). He is a visiting faculty of
Jawaharlal Nehru Technology University and Andhra University. Satya has had an
elaborate four years international experience in customer relationship and
account management. He was also a member of the core team at Satyam Navigation
since the year 2003 when SatNav was a part of Satyam Computer Services. He has
handled various project implementations and has an extensive experience in
execution of complex assignments. He handles delivery of projects for multiple
critical areas of SatNav businesses.
